Since the 2022 Football season, Missouri Scoop created the New Hire of the Year Award to highlight the coaches that have done the most to impact their programs in their 1st year at the helm. We consider previous records of the program prior to the new coach, year 1 accomplishments, and additional factors that we’re aware of. Finalist are chosen from each classification, 8MAN – Class 6. Two awards are given; the Small Classification which includes 8MAN – Class 3, and the Large Classification which includes Class 4 – Class 6.
